Kenneth Taylor was an American and Eden Taylor was his wife who took her in as a child. The Poarchs revealed that for the following ten years Poarch mostly spent her time working on the farm of her family. Poarch is the elder of two older sisters who were adopted and also has an older brother Bryner. When she was 13, her family moved to Texas within Texas in the United States, except for two older sisters. The rest of the family remained in Phillipines.
